We would like to welcome Stephen Pickup to the FDS Consult UK team. Stephen joins us as a Fire Engineer. We asked Stephen a few questions regarding his appointment:
What is your professional background?
I served in the London Fire Brigade for 9 years as a Firefighter and Crew Manager. After completing several IFE and FPA Courses, I left the fire service to embark on a career in Fire Safety in 2019.
What attracted you to FDS Consult UK and to the role?
I wanted a more technical role and to be challenged more, and FDS have a fantastic reputation within the industry. It was a very easy ‘yes.’
What has been your experience so far?
Although being new to FDS, I felt instantly welcome and at home. The team and management are fantastic, and I’ll give 100% and try to bring as much value to the team as possible.
