Expand Your Fire Engineering Knowledge with October’s Free CPD Seminar

Architects, developers, M&E consultants and contractors alike can extend their education for free this October, thanks to FDS Consult UK’s latest seminar.

Focusing on fire engineering within the residential and commercial sectors, the CPD seminar will discuss the roles that current legislation and code recommendations play in the creation of fire strategies and show how the use of fire engineering can create the ideal solution for any project.

Held at the Building Centre, London, on Tuesday 21st October, the seminar will use case study examples to illustrate the advantages that taking an engineered approach can bring to a project, including high safety standards, improved design flexibility, space maximisation and reduced build costs.

Drawing on the expertise of the FDS Consult UK team, the seminar’s speakers will include Managing Director Michel Wizenberg, Associate Fire Engineer Jigar Pandya and Fire Engineer Alastair Crossley.

Michel said: “By educating industry professionals on the advantages that taking an engineered approach to fire design can bring to their projects, we hope that they will incorporate these factors into their commercial and residential designs, allowing them to maximise fire safety and achieve architectural and commercial objectives.”

The event will also include Q&A sessions after each of the sector-specific seminars, giving attendees the chance to discuss the issues that impact them and their industries and receive guidance from FDS Consult UK’s highly knowledgeable team.
